Dental Specialists of Edmond is here to service the community of Edmond, Oklahoma City and its surrounding areas. We are a state-of-the art dental practice, providing expert implant and restorative services; this includes single and multiple implants, as well as implant-supported dentures, New Teeth in One Day and full-mouth rehabilitation. Our top concern is providing high-quality dental care to all our patients. We strive to be the office you go to for all your dental needs.

Meet Our Doctors
Tapan Koticha, DDS
Dr. Koticha is an experienced periodontist (gum and bone tissue specialist). He is board-certified in periodontics and dental implants, and is able to provide the full scope of treatment for gum disease, gum recession, bone grafting and dental implant placement. He is also certified to provide the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique.
In addition to providing top-quality patient care at Dental Specialists of Edmond, Dr. Koticha is highly involved in academia. He has served as the Director of the Graduate Periodontics specialty training program at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and continues to serve as a site visitor for the Commission for Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association in the specialty of Periodontics.
He is also an Editorial Contributor for the Clinical Dentistry Channel at Practice Update, an educational resource for dental and medical professionals. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and received numerous awards, including the Ben Duff Fellowship Award (2012), the Richard J. Lazzara Fellowship in Advanced Implant Surgery (2014–15) and the Sigurd P. Ramfjord Award for Excellence (2014).
Dr. Koticha is a member of many prestigious dental organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, Southwest Society of Periodontology, American Dental Association and Oklahoma Dental Association.
Yacoub Al Sakka, DDS
Dr. Al Sakka is a prosthodontist, a specialist in aesthetic tooth restoration and tooth replacement. He is passionate about art and science and uses both to improve the quality of life for patients with missing or deficient teeth. He uses the latest digital technology, combined with modern dental ceramics/materials, to create beautiful and natural-looking new teeth and smiles for his patients.
Dr. Al Sakka is highly involved in academia. He was the founding Director of Digital Dental Technology and an Associate Professor at Oklahoma University College of Dentistry, where he has taught since 2014. He also provides consultation services for several practices and institutions to implement digital dentistry. Dr. Al Sakka provides continuing education courses for dental professionals on the topics of digital technology and implant dentistry.
He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Oklahoma Dental Association.
